Moniez is currently a personal finance project in development, operated by its owner for personal use. This notice describes this public website and the separate local finance setup.
This public website
This site provides information about the Moniez project. It does not offer public sign-ups, bank connections, or financial account access. All figures in the homepage preview are fictional illustrations.
We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts, forms, or account cookies to this website. Vercel, our hosting provider, may process standard request information such as IP address, browser information, and request time to serve and protect the site. See Vercel's privacy policy for its practices.
Connected financial information
The private setup uses Plaid's official CLI to connect supported accounts with authorization from the account owner. Depending on the accounts and products authorized, Plaid may provide account information and transaction history. Bank credentials are entered through Plaid- or institution-controlled authentication flows.
Downloaded financial records are kept on the owner's computer for local analysis. This website does not host those records, account balances, bank credentials, or Plaid access tokens. Plaid and the financial institutions process information under their own terms and privacy policies; see Plaid's privacy policy.
Purpose and permitted use
The project is being developed to support personal spending review, recurring-expense discovery, and financial tracking. Institution access is read-only. The project does not initiate payments, transfers, or trades.
The local development workflow uses synthetic or sanitized examples. Any AI processing of selected financial information requires the owner's authorization and is separate from visiting this website.
Control and retention
The owner controls the local financial files and their retention. A connection can be revoked through the institution or, where available, Plaid Portal. Revoking a connection stops future access according to the provider's behavior; previously downloaded local files must be deleted separately.
This is currently an owner-only project. There are no public customer accounts or customer financial records held by this website. The notice will be updated if the project's scope or processing practices change.
